Consultation and making an appointment

Please Contact Us via e-mail for questions or to make an appointment for a consultation: tatiana@kobeclinic.com

Initial examination (consultation)

A series of tests will be conducted to determine if you are a good candidate for LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis) treatment. Specially trained staff will explain LASIK using data from your examination results, and a LASIK specialist will address any questions or concerns you may have.

Detailed examination

A more detailed second examination is needed to determine the exact excimer laser dose.
*Please note that those who use contact lenses are asked to refrain from wearing their contact lenses for a certain period of time prior to this examination.

LASIK surgery

Please bring a completed letter of consent to the clinic on the day of surgery.
*Please do not apply make-up, perfume or hair products on the day of surgery.

For contact lens users

If you wear hard contact lenses, we highly recommend you to stop wearing them for four full weeks prior to the detailed examination. If you wear soft contact lenses, we suggest you to stop wearing them for one week prior to the detailed exam. (It may be necessary for people who have been using hard contact lenses for long periods to stop wearing their lenses for one month or more to allow the cornea to resume its natural shape.)
