Board Certified Ophthalmologist Dr. Alan M. Berg has been a
pioneer in refractive surgery for the last 20 years, beginning
with his work in Radial Keratotomy (RK). He now specializes
in laser vision correction in Los Angeles, California, in the
United States, as well as serving as a technical advisor to
the Kobe Clinic in Japan. With Dr Bergﾕs guidance, the Kobe
Clinic offers the best available equipment, facilities and surgical
techniques to our patients, and Dr Berg works along with the
Kobe Clinic staff to share benefits the of LASIK treatment with
patients in Japan.

Berg chose to become an ophthalmologist ﾒto help patients with
their most important sense −their sightﾓ. He is a national consultant
for Merck and Allergan medical corporations, enabling him to
share his expertise with ophthalmologists all over the world.
Having performed more than 15,000 LASIK procedures, Dr. Berg
was chosen as one of only 50 surgeons in the US to be involved
with clinical trials of the Implantable Contact Lens. Dr. Berg
uses only state-of-the-art technology, including both the VISX
Star S4 and the Autonomous LADARVision systems to help his patients,
and he was recently honored as a VISX Star Surgeon, one of the
leading top 5% LASIK surgeons in the USA, by the VISX Laser
company. Featured on Channel 13 News In Los Angeles regarding
advances in LASIK technologies, Dr. Berg has lectured on laser
vision correction to other ophthalmologists throughout the United
States and has taught foreign ophthalmologists the art of LASIK.
When he is not working, Dr. Berg enjoys spending time with his
wife and two children. |
