A.I have worn contact lenses since I was 17 and have always found them to be troublesome. Also I don't like to wear glasses. I lead an active life and especially love surfing and the beach. I wanted to have the LASIK surgery done so I could enjoy surfing and sport without worrying about my contact lenses.

A.I was using the internet and found an ad for the Shinagawa Clinic. I was going to go there but my girlfriend found Kobe Clinic using Yahoo. Even though Kobe Clinic was more expensive I decided to go there because they have English speaking staff.

A.The operation was completely painless and personally I wasn't worried at all. The staff are always pleasant and make you feel relaxed. Kobe Clinic is clean and comfortable and looks professional. I would like to have stayed in the relaxation room a little longer but was moved out after 15 minutes. I'm not sure if its usual or not but I had a lot of difficulty going home that day as I couldn't open my eyes for more than a second because of the bright light. If I had been alone it would have been really difficult to get home.
