Risks and Complications
NearVisionCK is a safe and effective treatments, however some risks and/or treatable complications may occur.

・Right after the treatment and next a few days, you may have slight pain with watery eyes, or dryness, feeling a foreign body in your treated eye.

It can be eased by eye drop the doctor prescribes after the treatment and these conditions will fade out as time goes by.



・It may vary with person, you may have halo and/or glare at night.

There declined night vision is temporary. Halo and glare will be reduced or completelyfaded out about after 6 months after the treatment.



・Within 1 month after the treatment, the effect is strong and not settled yet, you may feel the difference in vision by right or left eye.

The brain needs time to be accustomed to the newly created blend vision. Usually itwould settled about 3 months after the treatment. ・It may cause astigmatism after the treatment.

Additional touch-up treatment may be recommended.



・Some people may have regress the near vision (ability to focus near distance) you gained after treatment within 6 months.

Additional treatment will be applied ( free of charge)
However, in the case of near vision change was due to progress of your presbyopia, the treatment will be fully charged.



・If you didn’t keep your sanitary condition of your eyes after treatment, your eyes may infected.

If the infection is slight, we will prescribe some eye drops, however, this depends on the condition of your infected cornea, you may need to visit to another clinic we refer.（All charges recurring from the medical treatments at these referredclinics will be your responsibility to pay.）



・In very few and rare case, the NearVisionCK may result no effect.

In this case, you may still need your reading glasses.



・The treatment is not reversible.

About Additional Treatments
Even though you had NearVision CK treatment once, your accommodation ability to focus on objects and fine letters in near distance will be declined by aging and the progress of presbyopia. In general, up-to 3 additional NearVision CK can be done to accommodate with progress of your presbyopia. (fully charged each time.)NearVision CK is for the temporary improvement of near vision to whom want to reduce or eliminate their dependence on glasses, reading glasses or contacts.
