The surgery fee at Kobe Clinic includes our “Long Term Follow Up Program-Total Care Service”.
For the post-operative care, the following items are free of charge:
- All scheduled pre-operative and post-operative check-ups.
- Assistance by English-speaking personal LASIK adviser on every visit.
- Necessary prescription drugs dispensed from our clinic for 1 year after your surgery.
- Treatment in case of complications.
- Even if you have another eye disease rather than complications, we will provide treatment if possible at our clinic facility within 1 year after your surgery.
- * If your condition is better suited to be treated by another medical institution, we will refer you to our affiliated hospitals.
The cost and consultation fees at the referred hospitals are your own responsibility.
If you develop the following conditions after surgery and if our physician decides the additional vision correction / enhancement is necessary, we offer the enhancement surgery, free of charge.
- In the rare case of Myopic regression ( which may occur in about 3% of cases ).
- In case the surgery did not achieve the targeted vision.
- In case of unexpected over-correction / hyperopia occurred.
- * Our Vision Enhancement Program is not applicable for the following cases: For the patients who had the vision correction surgery at other clinics／The vision regression caused by aging／The vision regression caused by accidents, physical injuries／History of diabetes, collagen disease and other serious medical conditions／For the patients who have Cataract or Glaucoma.／Currently pregnant.／For the patients who do not have cornea thickness remaining after re-examining the LASIK eligibility.／Any other reasons that the physician diagnoses and decides the additional surgery would be difficult or ineffective.
In case if you have to leave Japan, we will refer you to the clinic where you can continue your follow up in the country you will go to. We also will provide you with the introduction letter with the results of pre-operative and post-operative eye exams that you had at our clinic. Please note that cost and consultation fees at the referred hospitals are your own responsibility.
