"Life Changing" is how I can simply express my experience at the Kobe Clinic.
I have been wearing glasses since I was five years old. I had to put on my glasses in order to see. Growing up as a tennis player and now as a professional coach, wearing glasses was difficult for me. Sweat would fall onto my glasses making it a distraction. I tried contact lenses but they kept giving me problems so I had to go back to wearing glasses.
I had never minded wearing glasses but I always felt that I looked better without them on. Many times when I went out with my friends, I wouldn't wear my glasses because I felt more confident about the way I looked without them. The problem was that I couldn't see!! I would wish I was able to see with my own eyes.

That day came true when I went to Kobe Clinic. Going into the clinic, I was nervous, but I ended up feeling relaxed. The doctors and all the staff were so nice. They made me feel comfortable to where I wasn't nervous at all. The surgery lasted only six minutes. Six minutes to fix years of not being able to see without a pair of corrective lenses. I couldn't believe it!! "Crystal Clear" is the best way I can explain how I can see now. Each morning when I wake up and go onto the tennis court I am able to see with my own eyes!!
I urge anyone who is thinking about getting Lasik surgery to have it done at Kobe Clinic. It's a wonderful experience and it truly is life changing. "Thank you Kobe Clinic!!"

I have always dreamed of having LASIK. One day my husband called me up at work, and we immediately decided to go for a consultation. At that time, we were choosing between two clinics.

Compared to other clinics, Kobe Clinic provides English consultations which we believe helped us to have a better understanding to make our decision. Almost all clinics claimed they had the most advanced equipment imported from the US but KC's price was lower than the other clinics we were considering. KC had a higher number of patients treated, including professional sports people and celebrities. We visited KC first and we never went to other clinics because we just felt right about KC. We felt we could trust the staff.

The day of the surgery was a big day for us, but both my husband and I felt that the operation was easier than the examination. Of course we were nervous, but it was so quick and we were encouraged during the whole procedure. Staff at KC provided us the support that we exactly needed at the very moment. There wasn't much pain; more like discomfort on the day of the procedure. This was exactly what we were told to expect during our consultation. Therefore, there was nothing unexpected except that we were quite surprised at how fast our eyes recovered.

I do lots of snowboarding and surfing. After a day in the sun and wind, it was always difficult to put contacts in the following day.

I sent a mass e-mail to all of my friends asking for recommendations for LASIK clinics and everybody had good things to say about Kobe. The fact that the staff spoke English was also a major deciding factor.

I always feel quite welcome and comfortable at the clinic. On the day of the surgery I was not worried at all until I actually sat in the chair. But then the surgery was over quickly.

I have worn contact lenses since I was 17 and have always found them to be troublesome. Also I don't like to wear glasses. I lead an active life and especially love surfing and the beach. I wanted to have the LASIK surgery done so I could enjoy surfing and sports without worrying about my contact lenses

I was using the internet and found an ad for the Shinagawa Clinic. I was going to go there but my girlfriend found Kobe Clinic using Yahoo. Even though Kobe Clinic was more expensive I decided to go there because they have English speaking staff.

The surgery was completely painless and personally I wasn't worried at all. The staff are always pleasant and make you feel relaxed. Kobe Clinic is clean and comfortable and looks professional. I would like to have stayed in the relaxation room a little longer but was moved out after 15 minutes. I'm not sure if its usual or not but I had a lot of difficulty going home that day as I couldn't open my eyes for more than a second because of the bright light. If I had been alone it would have been really difficult to get home.

Having used spectacles and contact lenses for nearly twenty years I had considered LASIK a number of times. I wanted to be free of traditional vision correction "technology".

The reason I elected to use the Kobe Clinic was a very positive recommendation from a friend about his experience with Kobe Clinic and LASIK.

The surgery was very straight forward and the clear explanation of the procedure meant I had no sense of anxiety. The mild discomfort I experienced duaring the surgery was nothing compared to the pleasure of clear vision the following morning!
